Cannabinoids We Offer

Not all cannabinoids are created equal. Academic research has shown that some cannabinoids are more effective at helping reduce pain/inflammation, while others may help induce relaxation/sleep/etc. Below, we provide a brief intro to some of the cannabinoids we offer. If you don’t see the cannabinoid you are looking for, below, please reach out to us.

CBD: The jack of all trades cannabinoid. Cannabidiol (CBD) is well known for its anti-anxiety, analgesic (pain relieving), anti-inflammatory, and anti-insomnia properties. It is extremely effective in regulating the endocannabinoid system thereby alleviating many common conditions.

CBDa: The acidic version of CBD, cannabidiolic acid (CBDa) may have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. There have been studies indicating its potential therapeutic effects on the spike protein in coronaviruses. Further, CBDa may also have strong anti-inflammatory, anti-emetic (anti-nausea), anti-tumor, and anti-psychosis properties.

CBG: Cannabigerol (CBG) is most well known for having strong anti-cancer/anti-tumor properties. However, CBG is also extremely effective in treating bowel/gut conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease. It is also effective in combating glaucoma and Huntington’s disease.

CBGa: Cannabigerolic acid (CBGa) is known as “the mother of all cannabinoids,” owing to it being the precursor to all cannabinoids as the hemp plant matures. CBGa may have strong antimicrobial and antiviral properties; specifically, some studies showing its ability to inhibit the spike protein in some coronaviruses. However, CBGa may also have analgesic (pain relieving), anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties as well.

CBN: Cannabinol (CBN) is known as the sleep cannabinoid, as it has been shown to have sedative properties which aid conditions such as insomnia. However, it is also quite effective in muscle and joint pain relief (fibromyalgia), especially when combined with CBD. CBN has also been shown to have neuroprotective properties.

THCV: Tetrahydrocannabivarian (THCV) is most well known for its appetite suppression and potential weight loss properties. While many use THCV as a type of “diet cannabinoid,” THCV also has strong analgesic (pain relieving) and anti-inflammatory properties, especially when taken with CBD. THCV can also help regulate blood sugar levels (diabetes), neuroprotection, bone protection and growth, and may also help reduce panic attacks (PTSD), anxiety, and stress.
